My students are considered to be an extension of my immediate family. My accomplishments are directly impacted by their personal accomplishments because I believe they go hand-in-hand. When they reach milestones that may seem small to some, please know that they are huge to their parents and myself. A smile, eye-contact, a gesture and any other social interaction that is so easily taken for granted, are monumental milestones in the eyes of a teacher and parent associated with a child with autism. The passion I have for what I live to do is limitless. I continue to seek perfection in achieving the ultimate solution; putting each piece of the autism puzzle together, one piece at a time.
