I teach students in grade 5-7. My students are part of our district R.I.S.E program. R.I.S.E stands for Reaching Independence through Support and Education. My students are diagnosed with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities. One of the most important aspects of my classroom is teaching my "kids" how to be independent in school, at home and in the community. I am highly invested in created the best possible program for my students to be successful.
