My students are a melting pot of cultures and abilities. Many of them struggle economically, few of their parents went to college and some did not complete high school. They are funny, creative and really have a thirst for learning. They are in 6th grade in California. I tell my students everyday that life is a journey and they have the ability to choose their destination. They believe they can!
