Flexible seating allows students to choose where and how to sit that best suits their learning style. The wobble stools allow students to sit a desk or table but still allows for movement that isn't distracting. The Crazy Creek chairs allow students to sit on the floor with support while reading or collaborating and writing on clipboards. The stools allow students to work at a number of different desks or tables. As soon as I'm finished giving them directions, the first question is "Can we sit anywhere in the room? Some enjoy sitting on the floor with a clipboard or lying on the carpet. Students are more motivated and focused when they find a place to work that best suits them. The cushions allow students to sit more comfortably on the floor or on a bench that sometimes doubles as a table. I have seen an incredible increase in focus and motivation and mood when my students have the choice in where they can sit.
