The art of communication is an attribute that many of our youth are missing. Speech and Debate is an asset that will assist our students for the rest of their life. As the new Speech and Debate teacher and coach, I am excited to increase my student's passion for words as they understand the power of words. Most of the students in my class are IB and Honor students that are striving and dedicating their extra time to competing across the nation in Speech and Debate. With a 90% Minority population and 94% graduation rate, the students are making a difference.
