The students in my first-grade classroom come from a very rural, western Colorado community. Our K-8 school is a Title I school, which means, that we have high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families. For many of my students, exposure to a technology-rich, culturally diverse and experiential environment is lacking. For many students in our community, the eight hours that they're at school, are the most beneficial and structured hours of their day. Since our time is so precious, it's important for teachers to provide a variety of activities, strategies, and lessons, to keep students motivated and engaged. When this comes together, there's no stopping my students from becoming rockstar learners! Thank you so much for considering a donation that would greatly benefit my students. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you, for opening the doors to endless possibilities!
