Finding books that connect with all students is a difficult task. Planning novel studies and literature circles with limited, old, outdated novels is difficult. This donation will allow me to get popular, current authors into the hands of all my students. The books and authors chosen are known to "hook" reluctant readers. They often can't wait to read more books by these authors. Two of the authors chosen are future author visits for our school. This will be another great opportunity for students to become "connected" with novels and authors. Donating to this cause will help many students for years to come and help foster lifelong learners.
