There is a great opportunity to use a an underutilized space so that students can engage in reading. Just outside my classroom window, there's a perfect spot outdoors to make this happen. We would like to inspire students to build their stamina and enjoy reading outdoors. We will need 2-3 canopies to provide for a shaded reading. We also have a parent donating logs to sit on and we are in the works with creating a small raised flower bed. We will need garden tools, weather-proof cushions, and wood for a mural. Our vision is to create a cozy environment inspiring young readers. Over 400 students will be able to access this!
