With the items that I have requested my students will have access to literature that we use in the classroom. In years past students have had to share books which makes things difficult. In these times, sharing is no longer an option. I have technology in my classroom so that I can be interactive with my students using my iPad and our online curriculum. Middle school students have a natural curiosity and desire to learn about real-life issues. With a subscription to TIME magazine I can offer my students real-world applications that are appropriate for their age group and activities to go along with it.
