I am a brand new librarian in Fort Worth ISD, and I am very inspired to make the library a fun, engaging, comfortable place that inspires a love of reading in our young scholars. Reading unlocks the keys to so many doors for our students, and I want the library to be a safe place they want to go to broaden their minds and use their creativity. Therefore, I want to create a Makerspace in the library so that students can think about things other than the state test! Using the creative sides of their brains is crucial!
