My students will use these books in a variety of ways. They will be used for book reports and reading logs. I will use them to teach skills and to show the students connections between books and their lives. I want my students to be exposed to many different genres and enjoy reading. My students will be able to have a literacy rich classroom where they can have a variety of books at their disposal. Reading is the foundation for success in all other subject areas. Every word, every illustration, every character, every book is a new adventure of information and knowledge waiting for them to discover. The iPad they would use it for research using apple apps such as Augmented Reality in Education (AR). The cover of the iPad would be for protection. Can Do!Games would be for support at small group instruction in science. These books, Can do! games and the iPad will be available for students in the classroom. Currently my classroom lacks a variety of Spanish language differentiated books and technology which is negatively impacting my students' passion for learning and reading frequency. These materials will make a significant impact on immersing my students in literacy and help me support them as they transition from learning to read to reading to learn! Please help me spark my students' interests in new topics, engage their minds in creative thinking, and put them on the road for success.
