My students are young and they love to play games or be active while learning. They like to listen to me read stories during the day and they would benefit from being able to hear another voice through headphones. My class is very active and having listening time helps me to be able to pull in individual kids away for intervention with me. If I can't keep the others occupied it is difficult to grasp that invaluable intervention time.
