Students will use these headphones to practice their language comprehension skills. Besides listening to foreign language content, they will also headphones to practice their communication skills by creating short recordings of themselves speaking in different scenarios. In addition, students will use these headphones to communicate with peers from around the world via Skype. I am establishing a classroom partnership with students from France and Canada. Since we do not have a language lab in our school, it is my hope to transform my classroom into a language lab for French conversational practice. With these headphones, coupled with our laptop computers and apps like Skype or WhatsApp, I hope to give my students real-time language experience while in the classroom.
