LEGO are a great way to encourage student learning. My students will use LEGO in class to engage in Math, Science, Engineering and Language Arts. Through the use of LEGO students will improve their creativity, develop problem solving skills, and develop persistence. Also, the use of LEGO will encourage my English Language Learners to speak and interact with their peers. LEGO are a classroom tool that can be used in a variety of applications. I envision students having fun while using LEGO as manipulatives for fractions, addition, and subtraction. They also help with their fine motor skills, and creativity. Children love LEGO and bringing them into the classroom will bring an awesome sense of work and play. I look forward to this wonderful experience.
