Technology opens the doorway to learning resources that can help children in their most formative stages of academic development. When it comes to learning letters and numbers and developing letter-sound recognition, tablets are the ideal tools for little hands which often struggle to navigate a mouse. Tablets will help my kindergarteners become more independent when using technology while being convenient and cost-effective. In today's world, children's learning needs and learning styles differ from traditional approaches. Children can learn to practice letter, number and reading skills through interactive computer games. With the use of tablets, I will able to differentiate my instruction so that I can incorporate the use of tablets to help students work independently while being free to work with my students who need one-on-one help. I can also use the tablets as an interactive learning tool to help students who need a different entry point into learning. I really need your help to incorporate technology as a learning resource in my classroom. Thank you!
