As a Georgia Pre-K teacher, I am responsible for setting up a comprehensive dramatic play center to foster language development, creative thinking, problem solving, imaginative play, and socialization with peers. Each month, I must add a prop box to the standard kitchen set so students can interact with theme-related materials in a creative way. Providing quality, imagination-inspiring dramatic play props is both a joy and a responsibility as a pre-kindergarten teacher. As Albert Einstein said, "Play is the highest form of research." As my students interact with these dramatic play props, they will learn more about each other and the world around them. Each monthly theme set will tie into our studies in language, math, science, and social studies in some way or another. Please help me stock my dramatic play set with amazing resources for these precious little learners! Your donation will enable me to set up a BBQ/Picnic Prop Box, a Post Office, an Ice Cream Shop, a Scientist Prop Box, a Doctor Set with X-rays, and a Vet Set.
