Every day at school, we have two hours of reading instruction. One of the most exciting parts of this time frame for my students is independent reading time. My students get so excited when they actually have a choice of what they are reading! With these materials, students will have the chance to engage in a quiet, yet profound interaction with the text. I am excited to see where these books will take my students and am certain that this literacy donation will increase my student's reading levels. Books open several doors and will surely open the door to fluency with each and everyone of my students!
