The students in Vallejo are resilient and exuberant. There are many strong personalities and opinions that often clash, but are being taught how to work together. They don't let their varied, and often difficult, home lives ruin their time at school. As their educator I hope to provide a safe and exciting learning environment for them. The schools in Vallejo are in need of much TLC. The district does not provide much financial support. Many of the parents are working more than one job to cover basic living expenses. Having school supplies for the students helps alleviate stress for everyone involved. Your donations help give me the tools to teach, and my students the tools to learn. Hands-on activities are a must in this technology-driven world. I work hard to provide wholesome learning experiences within a supportive and encouraging environment.
