Technology is one of the most constant things in our society. We can always count on it for communication, researching, and entertainment. In the classroom, you can count on it for engagement, student learning, and critical thinking. It is every teacher's goal to help each student reach their potential and go above and beyond to help them achieve it. By donating to our project, you will help these students have access to technology and better prepare them for the future. iPads and technology alike expose children to all subjects in many different ways. My students will be able to use these iPads to increase engagement through learning apps as well as practice the skills being taught in class. They will become more responsible by learning to care for our resources and hold each other accountable by taking ownership. Integrating this technology will help to reach students with different types of learning styles and increase motivation in others as well. I hope that this project will help my students enter the world of technology and grow as lifelong learners!
