I am requesting power strips and cord protectors for our 5th grade math students because our laptops and other portable electronic devices need to be charged often. It is very frustrating for our students to be in the middle of an engaging, online lesson only to have the dreaded "plug in, low battery" message appear on their screens. The power strips and cord protectors will also allow our students more flexibility in their seating options. Many of our students prefer sitting on carpets, balance balls, camp chairs, and pillows in lieu of traditional student desks. The requested materials will give our students more choice, thus more control of their learning.
