Flexible seating and seating adjustments help students find a space that best helps them get comfortable and focus. Through these materials you are providing they will have seats throughout the classroom that will help them be engaged in the lesson as best they can. With our expansion into a STEM school, this seating will help with collaboration during classwork. STEM is about providing students with problems and allowing them to find solutions rather than lecturing them about the correct ways to do things. For STEM to be successful, the students have to be in an environment where they are comfortable and this flexible seating will give them that. Comfort also allows students to let other walls down, giving them the chance to fully engage in my classroom.
