My school is located in a small rural community. My 80 students come from a variety of backgrounds. The vast majority of my students are on the lower- social economical level. Our school has created a wonderful family atmosphere. Our school is a high performing school because our students and teachers go above and beyond each and everyday. My students have such caring hearts for their fellow students. Character education has played important role in their education. My students are eager to participate in class discussions and have grown as listeners. I give the students choices for their independent book projects. One area I am limited in is technology for video projects. They are busting at the seams with incredible ideas for video projects, but I don't have the resources for them. I want to be able to bring their ideas to life. That's where the Imagination Lab comes in. I want to create an Imagination Lab where they can film, create and edit video projects.
