My students will learn about a variety of ways to improve our environment. In this process, they will design, test and build wind, solar, and water devices. This will help them obtain STEM knowledge, access and analyze data while learning about career opportunities. Students will learn about non-renewable resources while investigating alternatives. By building and working with models of alternative energy sources, students will have first-hand knowledge of scientific practices that can help them become stewards of the environment. Innovation is a key part of our school environment and we will work to improve upon that tradition while learning to create Virtual Reality representations of the work we are doing. Finished solar projects will donated to nations where energy resources are limited.
