My classroom of second graders are enthusiastic readers and writers. Our school receives Title I funding. Twenty-eight percent of our K-2 students qualify for free or reduced lunch. I have a diverse group of learners. Some have little experience using computers. I would like them all to have more exposure to technology. My students are lively learners! I want them all to be actively engaged in learning. The multimedia projector will help increase their reading and writing skills as well as improve their confidence. Let's share the love of learning. My students enjoy presenting reader's theater plays to other classrooms. We can use the multimedia projector to view our own reader's theater productions and offer peer feedback to improve our presentations. We can also use the multimedia projector for displaying songs and poems for choral reading. What an authentic way to practice fluency with the entire class!
