After 9 years in the classroom I have made the leap to the school library media center. I feel that the school library is and always should be the hub of the school. As our district, and our school prepares to transition to a personalized learning model complete with 1:1 Chromebooks for each student, the role of the school library media center and my role as a school librarian will be evolving. I am leading the charge to transform the library to more of a learning commons area, complete with a Makerspace where my students can come to communicate, collaborate, think critically and create!

About my class
