Little did I know that I would be the one learning and growing from their wisdom, and they would be making a huge impact on me. Teaching is about building relationships with students founded on mutual respect. My students understand that I respect them and they in turn respect me. Furthermore, I take the time to really understand them and care for them, because I know the struggles that some undergo.
