I am a Kindergarten teacher on the south side of Chicago in a public school. I have a class of 27 students. I love teaching Kindergarten. I have taught every grade from Head Start to 3rd grade. And for me Kindergarten is by far the most rewarding. It amazes me every year how students come to school in September barely writing their names and by June they are reading on first and second grade reading levels. The students are so proud of themselves and I am so proud of them!
