  • We Need to Print: Bilingual Materials and Publish Our Writing!

    You really have helped us get our school year off to a great start! Students are now able to print and make copies of their work here at school and I am able to provide parents with high quality bilingual reading materials to practice at home.

    I think the most exciting thing about the printer for the students is that it prints in color!

    The printer has definitely encouraged and motivated some of my less enthusiastic students in writing, they want to see their work published and share it with family and friends!”

    My students love coming to the ESL classroom to learn, and now it is the highlight of the day for some, thanks to your generous donations of the new bell chimes! Our students are motivated to work hard and succeed in ESL and singing and speaking along with the chimes! They love playing and singing along to Youtube videos and creating our own songs. The bell chimes truly are a magical and getting students speaking and participating.

    My students were over the moon when they first saw the bell chimes and continue to be on a daily basis. The next steps for me and my students are getting more sing along books and instruments to deepen our learning in our musical classroom environment!”

  • Charging Ahead in Reading for ESL!

    These high-quality microphone headphones and charging stations are a game changer! We are saving so much previously wasted learning time. It's amazing now because all computers fully charged in the new charging stations when students arrive in class so they can get right to work with no delay. Also the high quality headphones with microphones help students stay focused but also record their reading and give them the most impact of programs like Lexia and Amira.

    Students were so excited and surprised that they do no longer have to wait or be inconvenienced when trying to learn because of this new technology. These materials work so well, my students were able to beat the state and the district achievement for growth in English proficiency via the Louisiana State English Language Proficiency Test! Your donation is directly impacting student success and achievement!”
