Many of the students are my school come from impoverished families, many from single parent homes or live in foster homes or with someone that is not a biological parent. Over 90% of our students receive free or reduced lunches. Many of our students do not have the basic necessities needed for school. Every student must take Biology in order to graduate. There is an emphasis on using technology to help the students get a better understanding of Biology and the world around them. Access to various forms of technology would allow my students to become smarter together.
