I am surrounded by 25 creative minds daily. My scholars must navigate through one of the toughest cities in New Jersey, yet, they are determined to succeed. My classroom is a safe place for my scholars to learn and explore. I have scholars with various learning abilities, talents, interests, and needs. My scholars dream of becoming doctors, teachers, police officers, crime scene investigators, business owners, and computer programmers, just to name a few. Living in a tough, urban district, many of my scholars do not receive basic school supplies needed to succeed. I strive to keep their dreams alive while creating high yet realistic expectations for them.
