Our classroom is nestled in a public education school with approximately 720 students of mixed ethnic and social-economic status. Our families are mainly middle-low to low socioeconomic status. We are a school set in an urban location and receive Title 1 funding. Because we are such a diverse community, our school delves deeply and immerses the children immensely into the arts. Music and art and creativity, are things we all understand regardless of the language we speak. We are an incredible school that delves its students into learning and encourages collaboration amongst all students regardless of ethnic background, economic status, or academic and learning style.
