My students are filled with so much excitement whenever we use instruments. Their learning and retainment of the material is heightened whenever they are engaged in an activity that excites them. From experience, I know for a fact that my students absolutely love drums and percussion instruments in general. This first set of tubanos will be an excellent way for us to begin exploring the world of drumming. I also hope to one day start an after school drumming experience group that will hopefully serve as a means to build bonds and friendships between students. With this initial set of tubanos, we can begin the instrument collection process and hopefully, with time, see this come into fruition for the betterment of my students.
