September is just around the corner and I am excited to welcome my second graders into their "home away from home" for the next 10 months. It is my goal as a teacher to create a classroom that is inviting, exciting and comfortable. With our new rug and easel we will be able to create a meeting area that is an inviting and engaging place for my students to learn and work together. This donation will help improve our learning environment and allow the students to collaborate with ease during all of our lessons. The students will be able to use the easel during math, reading and writing group work. They will have a comfortable place to sit on the rug during instructional times and times when they need a break from their seats. I am excited to start the year with my new second graders and look forward to see how excited they are in their new classroom!
