The materials chosen will benefit not just my ELL students, but my entire caseload. I have many students who are learning English as a second language, and those that are language impaired. They need additional learning experiences that are hands-on in order to build their vocabulary and expressive language skills. The putty pieces are also a great tool for my younger students are who just learning word to object association. Being able to manipulate real objects instead of a picture card will highly benefit my students and allow them to be more successful in therapy sessions and in the general education classroom.
