This is my first year teaching Kindergarten and I am loving it. I don't have an Educational Assistant for the reasons that I have sixteen students enrolled. With this being my first year teaching Kindergarten our classroom library is small. I try to offer a variety of genres for my beginner readers and we would like to expand our library. I'm requesting Level A, B, C K Book Bins. During our literacy block students are working independently but at times need help spelling new difficult words. With this requested Alexa Echo Dot my students will have someone to ask for help spelling and defining new vocabulary words. The Alexa Echo Dot will be used as a resource for picking out students, telling the weather, reading recent news, for RTI, math problems, and telling time. At the beginning of every month students have to "Show what they know" by taking an interactive assessment on an iPad. During the month students have to log in into our district program to grow their skills. Students need the multipurpose headphones to help them focus on their personalized lessons.
