Giving my students access to technology skills will empower, advance and bridge the digital gap many underserved communities face in the 21st-century marketplace. Students will be able to listen to tutorials on building code for the apps they’re working on, hear from current professionals in the field, and amplify their classroom into a proper tech space with the addition of these headphones. Students use their chrome books in class daily but can sometimes not hear guided tutorials and supplemental videos because of outside noise. These headphones give students a quiet, professional classroom environment to help them focus on their coding projects. Additionally, my students need markers and file folders to complete and organize their work.
