These books will expand my classroom library from being fairly sparse to be quite diverse with many options for students to choose from. By giving students choice in what they are reading, they are more apt to continue to read on their own outside of what is assigned to them in class. Students tend to stay away from novels due to their negative connection to forced novels. This project will help students have many more options outside of what I personally read when I was in high school many years ago.
