My 3rd Grade class is the very first group of 3rd Graders I've ever had. Every day I am greeted by 23 smiling faces, 23 secret handshakes and a WHOLE lot of energy! Each morning my students enthusiastically enter the room and rush to be the first to their favorite seat for morning announcements and our reading lesson. The students able to sit in a seat of their choice have little to no trouble focusing. Those who did not make it to one in time struggle to maintain focus. Third grade is when they start getting letter grades. They start their state testing too. I would love to see my students feel so comfortable and so successful in their classroom environment that they face their tests without fear.
