My students need to see people who look like them in the books they read. We are a beautifully diverse student body! I want my classroom novels to reflect that diversity. Please help me build my middle school English Language Arts classroom library with novels that represent people of color so that my students can feel seen and heard when they come to school. They need to know that their stories matter. The cultures and races represented in my classroom are African American, Latinx, Mixed-Race, Immigrant, Vietnamese, and White. Please help me represent them in the books on my shelves!
