Even the most struggling readers are able to fully engage and finish reading multiple books through graphic novels. Those who previously struggle become prolific readers by way of graphic novels. Many of the graphic novels are complex and can be interpreted in a variety of ways, improving student comprehension skills. This project will allow students the opportunity to follow characters through an entire story-line. This shows commitment and dedication in a reader, by the end of the series readers will have a strong sense of accomplishment. Ultimately, the addition of this series will promote the love of reading, creating life-long readers in the process.

About my class
