The "You Choose" books purchased through this grant will be used specifically to support the 4th grade EL Education Curriculum. Students will be required to create their own 'choose your own adventure' story as part of their animal adaptations and defense mechanisms unit. These books will serve as inspiration and give them the background knowledge necessary to help them format their own stories. Furthermore, these books will be incorporated into the library's collection for all students to enjoy. We already have one "You Choose" book and it has circulated 8 times in the year that we've owned it. These are high interest books that engage even the most reluctant of readers.
