The donations provided by this project will help reduce the risk of female students going without the feminine products they need monthly. Students in my building already deal with enough stress on a daily basis and basic hygiene products should not be one of those concerns. Public programs are no longer providing us with the resources we need to meet the needs of our students and district budget can not accommodate providing pads for every female student on a monthly basis. I am approached on a daily basis by several young females in need of a pad and if no donations are received I will have to start turning them away.
