My students are curious, confident, and courageous. They do not think of themselves according to their at-risk demographics, but rather as a part of a rich heritage. My students are from a variety of Latin American countries. They will work diligently at any task I give them and will go the extra mile to complete it at an advanced level. Many of my students are musically talented which makes it all the more disheartening that we do not have a music teacher due to budget constraints.
