My students have a wide variety of books available to them to look at but often, we don't have the manpower to read to them whenever they want to hear a story. With a listening center in the classroom, they will be able to listen to stories and look through the books. I want to cultivate their love of books! Our students are low income and many of them do not have books readily available to them at home. Having a way for my students to be read to, whenever they want to hear a story, will be great for them!
