We are in a time in the educational circle that recess and movement is frowned upon, and we find ourselves "teaching to the test". Kids still need to be kids. I find most often that kids who are in constant trouble are in that trouble because they need to move to help keep their focus. Kids are little balls of energy, and in school they have very little opportunities to release that energy. I am looking to create a classroom that will provide alternative seating options for my kids so that they can safely get out the wiggles, not get into trouble, and complete their work to the best of their abilities. I am looking to provide stools, yoga balls, cushions, bar height tables, and more to provide many choices for my kids to make the best one that works for them.
