These readers that may be funded by my project are comprehensible for beginning level language learners written by Spanish teachers or people in the language learning field. Because these books are easy to comprehend, my students will have free reading time in class. The sense of accomplishment and excitement a student has when they understand a book in a new language is unparalleled. I hope to support other teachers in my building by helping to instill a love for reading in my Spanish students by presenting them with a new way to read.
