We received Chromebooks for our class this year, but the headphones we were given aren't very durable for third graders. We have already had a cord melt underneath a Chromebook, two that the coating has come off of the wire, and one that has had a wire just split. The ear pieces are constantly coming off as well. I have 5-6 pairs of these Sony headphones I bought on Black Friday awhile back and they are all still in pristine shape, even though they've been used by third graders for 6 years! Buying headphones for third graders every year isn't realistic!
