My students come from a very rural area of central Louisiana with very little tax base to provide the funds necessary to build and sustain a successful music program. The majority of our funding is obtained through fund-raising and concession stand management at our home football games. These earnings are very important for us to be able perform a halftime show each year. Unfortunately, we do not earn enough to go much beyond our expenditures.
