If my students project gets funded they will be thrilled to know that our Art Class has no limits, that if we dream and try together we can make things happen. The Pottery Clay will improve their creativity, motor skills and their sensory development. The soothing qualities of clay can captivate a child's interest for hours, and it has a calming effect witch will help them relax especially our middle school classes. I want to do anything that I can to help them improve their self-esteem and at the same time teaching them to solve problems in a safe class setting. It's hard for some student to stay still and be calm as we paint, I know that learning to use clay and making sculptures will help them to get more awake as they get more hands on projects.
