I am in need of adding new and engaging learning centers in our room! I need to add center activities since we are unable to share as a classroom community. The letter matching and word puzzles will allow the students to practice building a huge amount of new words. The CVC cards will allow students to touch and blend the letters together to create new words. Because students have missed so much school due to the pandemic. We are working very hard to be excellent readers and be ready for first grade. The centers are needed so that the students will be able to continue practicing their word-building skills and offer a varied learning style while I am in small guided reading groups. I am trying to allow the students more opportunities to have engaging independent center time, where they will continue to be engaged and learn and to encourage my students to come to class
